About Stuart, Florida
The city of Stuart is a quaint community with a restored downtown full of shops, restaurants, cultural attractions, and history. Located on the St. Lucie River, Stuart is a yachtsman’s paradise that sits at the eastern end of the Okeechobee Waterway, where the St. Lucie and Indian Rivers meet the Atlantic Ocean. About The Venue
The Hutchinson Island Marriott Beach Resort and Marina will be the premiere location for our Southeast Trawler Fest event. Easily accessible yet distant from the congestion of South Florida, this resort has long been a best-kept secret...the hidden jewel of the Treasure Coast. The facility is a 200-acre island resort conveniently located about 45 minutes from Palm Beach International Airport. It features 276 deluxe accommodations, more than 25,000 square feet of flexible meeting facilities, a 77-slip marina, and a beautiful setting in which to meet people who share your boating interests and to expand your knowledge about the cruising-under-power lifestyle.

Be sure to catch Captain Henry’s Safety Seminar:

"Outfitting for Safety"
Capt. Henry Marx, Landfall Navigation
Friday, January 23, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

This seminar is designed for the new boat owner and covers how to equip your new yacht for safety above and beyond the minimum USCG requirements. Capt. Henry Marx of Landfall Navigation will help you identify the difference between inshore, coastal, and offshore cruising and how your intended route and potential weather conditions will influence the equipment you put on board.

You will become familiar with the gear you need ranging from PFDs to distress signals to fire extinguishers. You will also discuss the basics required for a proper medical kit, damage control kit, and abandon ship bag and gear. This seminar will enable you to equip your boat with the safety items you need to cruise in confidence.
